Referral bonus marked as ineligible for my son on new laptop

Hi, I've recently bought brand new laptop and registered in addition to my MS account also my son account and invited him to install Dropbox using email. On completing all necessary steps I've got status "Ineligible". Please, clarify what is the reason of the status...

    Hi dnipro83 - sorry to hear you're having issues with this.

    Did you try to use the same device to install the Dropbox desktop app by any chance? If so, that would explain why your referral is ineligible.

    That said, if you'd like us to have a further look into this, please let me know and I'll reach out via email to investigate with account specific information.

    Hi Walter , I was thinking that issue might be with kids account so tried with other email but that was marked as ineligible too in my referral list.  I'm not sure how behaves Microsoft on initial installation when you give it your existent MS account for setup (was it able to fetch my existent installations on other devices?) What is 100% is that nobody have done installation of Dropbox on that brand-new laptop before by refferal and have received received bonus space credits.  Might it be just multi-account issue?
