The majority of my free storage is gone after subscription ended
Hi,
I had around 14gb of free storage originally. Then I took a month of subscription, cancel it again, and now all the sudden it says I only have 7.88gb.
I know I had much more free storage than that before, because I only needed around 1-2gb of extra space for some videos. My account was created back in 2011 more than a decade ago, but has now lost my free storage after the subscription.
Does anybody know how to get it back?

Hi JonesM, thanks for messaging the Community.
In general, referral quota is doubled when on a paid plan, meaning 500 MB would become 1 GB per referral.
Could you confirm the number of completed referrals according to this page on your account?
This will help me to assist further!

HiJay
Thank you for the quick reply.
I have 5 referrals back from 2010-2014. Plus various other ways of extra storage incl. Camera upload bonus (3gb) back in 2012 among other things.
Let me know if you need any other info.

Thanks for the info, 5 referrals would mean 2.5 GB in total, as each referral on the Basic plan is 500 MB each. In addition to 3 GB of camera uploads quota makes it 5.5 GB, and with the free 2 GB of quota already on your account would make it 7.5 GB of quota.
As you mentioned you have other offers on your account, these are most likely smaller amounts, which add up to the 7.88 GB of quota you already have.

Yes I'm aware of that. However, before I had the subscription, back in November, I had enough free storage. I only temporarily added a subscription to have enough space for a video folder on 6,19gb. So my free storage was somehow higher before.

You can see the history of your quota usage on the referrals pages, including any expired promotional offers which only last for a short period of time.
If you're not seeing any expired offers, then your quota was at that amount back then, or less if your referrals occurred after that date.
