I can't access my Dropbox account because it's sending an email to an account I can't log in to
Hi there.
I have a Dropbox account for which the original email address was closed by the server. I know the username and password but the two factor verification keeps sending to an email address that doesn’t work anymore. I have urgent information in there . What can I do as I can only change the email once I’m in the account and I can’t get in due to the two factor problem.

Hi TC17, thanks for bringing this to our attention.
Just for clarification, it sounds like you're referring to the verification code sent via email, as you haven't logged into the account for a long time, or from a different location.
Have you also set up two-step verification on the account with SMS or an authentication app?
This will help me to assist further!

Hi. I am sure that its the verification code sent via email. I didnt set up a two factor verification, but I see that since I last logged onto that dropbox it was introduced.
Its urgent for me as my husband passed away and thats where I put documents for our Estate and also photos. And now I cannot access it .
What can I do?
Thanks

Hey TC17, I'd need some account-specific info on my end in order to see what we can do about this.
Can I send you an email, so that we can have a look together?

Many thanks
