Can we have different plans / price points / data combinations / plan sizes?

Can we have different plans / price points / data combinations / plan sizes?

Hi, I find limited in the choices of subscription plans. Basic/free and Pro/110$

I'd gladly pay something like 25$ a year for 50GB and a 2 users family plan.

Considering iCloud have a 12$ plan for 20 GB and 48$ for 200GB, that seems reasonable..

Some of us can't afford 9.99 a month. It doesn't matter that we get more for less now, if we can't afford it. Who actually needs 200gb, never mind 1TB for a dropbox account? I'm perfectly happy with 50gb, and I was lucky enough to get it for free, but now I want to share my folders with my sister and I can't because she only gets 2gb, and she doesn't even have 9.99 a month at the moment. I agree that they are doing a very good deal, but that's no good to my sister, or the person who first posted here. We love dropbox so why wouldn't we want a price plan everyone can afford? It's alright to say just use something else but that doesn't change anything. Dropbox is still better for streaming & opening any document for me. It's a bit like those supermarket offers where they say you can get three for two and that's obviously a good deal, but the reality is lots of us can only afford one. But at least we have the option of buying one!

Because ultimately they need to make money. And as you said yourself its the best for what you want it to do - which often comes with a premium.

Kia, Ford, Porche?

All do same thing. All vastly different prices.

Hey there, Mark! Well said.

Thanks for joining in and sharing your views too, lluv.

You said, "I'm perfectly happy with 50 GB. Who actually needs 200 GB, never mind 1 TB?"

I do

There's some using Dropbox that barely need 30 GB. They can't imagine ever needing 40 GB. They would find your use of 50 GB excessive. I can give you a link to that topic if you want.

Right now I have less than 3 GB on my DB Pro account but by December I'll probably push closer to 700 GB. And each and every one of my files is just as important to me as every one of the files taking up your 50 GB is to you.

What an awful community. You are all so nasty i might well leave Dropbox as my sub is due.

My sub is due but I can't get DB to tell me how much the renewal cost is.

Just look on your Account page.

Typically it's either $99/year or $9.99/month, or more if you also subscribe to Extended Version History.
