Dropbox showing up several times in Privacy and security > Files and Folders > Word on MacOS Ventura

While using Dropbox, I have been asked several times to grant Word acces to a file in some Dropbox folder, running (perfectly) on MacOS Ventura (I installed it on the previous version).

Maybe this is why Dropbox is now mentioned several times in the MacOS System Settings > Privacy & Security > Files and Folders > Word, as shown in the image below.

How can I remove those entries? I hoped uninstalling Dropbox would also clear them, but it didn't.

Hey @PedroTytgat, thanks for reaching out to our Community.

To be honest, I don't think is is actually caused by Dropbox.

Have you looked online at all about this? Or perhaps contacted Apple?

I think they should be able to give you more info about it, but I will also leave this thread open, in case another user has had a similar experience and has some info for you.

Let me know if you have any other questions!

Hi, I think it is an Apple problem too, as the same problem occurs with OneDrive, but didn't find any way yet to solve the problem. I hoped that maybe you people were aware of the problem and had already figured out a way to solve it. I posted the problem on their community site too, but received no answer. I'll keep looking.

Pedro
