Two Macs backed up to Dropbox but can only rename the backup folder on one of them

I have 2 Macs. On my MacMini, I was able to change the Backup folder name from Mac (2) to MacMini as "rename" is an option both in the app and on the web. However, on my MacBook Pro, it is Mac (4) and I don't even have the option to rename (in app or on web). In fact, on my "Backup" webpage, the options for my MacMini are Download, Rename, Delete, but the options for my MBP (on the same page!) are Download, Restore, Delete. 

Any idea why the difference or how to fix?

    Hey cjcampi, thanks for reaching out to the Dropbox Community today!

     

    It might be possible that one of your computers has been updated to the new backup experience and the other one has not.

     

    With the new backup experience, along with many changes, it is now possible to rename the backup folder.

    Hi Hannah, 

    Yes, I thought that might be the case, so I followed those instructions from a previous post and went through the process twice, but still no luck. Deleted backup, quit Dropbox, relaunched Dropbox, added backup. Doesn't seem to update. Am I missing something here?

    cjcampi, can you check out these steps and disable/re-enable backup once again? 

     

    Let me know if this doesn’t help either.

    Hi Nancy, 

    I have done all of these steps multiple times. Restarted computer. Checked I have most current stable build, etc. 

    Pics show process of re-enabling, but still not able to rename Mac (4), which is the computer I am on. Still just "Restore" vs "Rename" like on other computer. Same in the preferences/management pane of the desktop app.
