Cannot download files

Cannot download files

My colleague sent me a link to several files. I logged into Dropbox and I could see the files in "recents". When I hovered over a file, there was no ellipsis and option to download. When I clicked on "options" it said I had to download a video app. When I clicked on that it said it wasn't working. I just wanted to download the files anyway and then use different apps to open them. Why could I not download them?

Thanks Jay, I appreciate your reply. When I went to find out the answer to your question, I found that the all the files were now there and accessible and downloadable. So, I'm at a bit of a loss as to why it didn't work the first time I tried. Anyway, perhaps a "glitch in the matrix", but whatever it was, it's all good now. Thanks again for asking.

Hi @Shakespeare48, thanks for bringing this to our attention.

Are these files in a shared folder, or are they only accessible from the shared files section?

This will help me to assist further!
