I lost my earned referral space. What can I do?
I had about 20gb storage I had achieved from referrals, all from way back in the early days of Dropbox. I now only have the original 2gb from when I signed up many years ago. What happened to all the extra space? Is there anyway to have this reinstated?
Does it say anything on that date about connecting new devices etc.?
If it only goes back to then that means the account was almost certainly set up on that date. So, you are using a different one to the one with spaces.

Hi Tim,
Have you been inactive on your Dropbox account for more than a year?
I recommend checking your referral page to see if your past referrals are still counted

Hi masher1982,
Thanks for your reply.
No, I've not ever been inactive for more than a year.
My referral page states "Total bonus space earned 0 bytes" - Mark9 months ago

What is www.dropbox.com/events showing?
Referrals for free users is limited to 16gb (32 x 500mb).

To answer your question "What is www.dropbox.com/events showing?" Nothing but some file/folder info.
I have to add at this point that I don't know when the storage disappeared, I don't pay much attention to these things but I was notified a while ago that my limit was getting close. Got around to checking what it was and sure enough only had 2gb total. - Mark9 months ago

How far back does it go?
That shows everything for 6 months or so

Well this is embarrassing... I see what's happened, in an attempt to change the the email address of the account, I have somehow opened a separate account! The old email is active and still has the granted referral space (not 20gb actually 13.63gb).
Thanks for your help.
