Dropbox iOS widget buttons open the app itself instead of the associated function
I have the iOS widget set up with different buttons for scan, upload file/photo, and record. But when I tap on any of them, all they do is open the dropbox app. They used to take me directly to their associated function.
I have tried adding/removing the widget, reinstalling the app, and restarting my phone. Any ideas what to do?

Hey justinis, welcome to our Community!
Based on everything you described, it sounds like this issue might be stemming from Apple's side and not directly from us, but let's look into this.
When you open our app, are you able to use the associated functions without an issue?
Does that only happen with any Dropbox-related widgets? I'd also suggest that you reach out to Apple, and ask them about this issue too, in order to check if they have some more insight.
Let me know more, and we'll take it from there!

Thanks for your response! Yes, I can use the associated functions without issue in the Dropbox app. The problem only happens with the Dropbox widget; other widgets work just fine.
I highly doubt I will be able to get a response from Apple about this. - Nancy27 days ago
