We're getting an error when saving CAD files to our Dropbox team account.

Hello all!

Working for a company that uses Dropbox business for file storage. Especially CAD files at the moment.
About a month ago we encountered problems with saving 2D drawings to our Dropbox.
After asking the CAD-software rep for help they sent us over to Dropbox to ask here.
It specifically happens when trying to save new iterations of existing 2D drawing's in Inventor.
It gives us the error in the image below.

Does anyone have any experience or knowledge about this?
Thanks in advance!

Hi NdeBruin, thanks for posting on our forum today!

When saying Dropbox gives you an error when saving CAD files, do you mean that this happens for the entire team or you and other specific members?

Is this happening for all CAD files?

What’s the current syncing status and app version of the Dropbox app on your computer?

Let me know and we can take a look.

    Hi Nancy,

    thanks for the quick reply!

Unfortunately it happens for the entire team.
It only happens with 2D-drawing files strangely.
At the moment it is on automatic sync, I turn it off when working with 2D's as this prevents the error some how.

    Our current version is 212.4.5767

If you need anything else please let me know

Hi NdeBruin, are these files in shared folders or private folders? Are these files considered to be package files, which are essentially zip files or folders?

        Hi

These files are in shared folders, the files are of the .dwg variety. I'm not sure if these classify as package files.
