I have a Plus plan downgraded due to a chargeback, how do I get my old plan back?
Hey, Jay
I had a Dropbox Plus plan that was downgraded to a Basic plan. Dropbox provided the reason for this downgrade as a chargeback that I never asked for and that never happened. There isn't any trace of this chargeback on my bank or credit card records. Is this a bug or was my account hacked? How can I recover my plan with the same features I had before?
Thanks!
Hi joaopombeiro, thanks for bringing this to our attention.
Are you able to see the information about the chargeback on this page? Have you contacted your bank regarding this chargeback?
In order to get the same plan again, you'll need to re-upgrade to the plan normally, as you're back on the Basic plan and it wouldn't be possible for us to re-upgrade for you.
If you have any further queries, feel free to message back.
