Ability to specifically lock a file or folder

After logging in and accessing Dropbox, is there an additional “lock” that can be placed on an individual file or folder?  This would necessitate the input of an additional password to access the file or folder.  From what I have read, additional “permissions” are available for shared items or links but I see no option to further password protect one’s own files or folders.  Thank you.

For individual files or folders, no, but there is the Vault feature.
