24 days agoI created a new account in the place of my old personal account and the admin can't restore it.
Hello.
I run a business, and a client mistakenly added me to a teams account, which i then accepted. Then, with them realizing their mistake of adding me, deleted my account. As such, I have lost my entire account and all files. In talking to this client, they said they could see my account in their deleted accounts history, but did not have an ability to restore it. Is it because I remade this account with the same email? Do I need to delete this account and allow them to restore it? It has been less than 7 days, and I don't believe the account was permanently deleted.
Any help on this would be greatly appreciated.

That's certainly a possibility. Two accounts cannot have the same email address.

That would be the first step that I would take.

Act quickly, because once 7 days has passed the account cannot be restored. Also, only the team admin is able to restore your account. Dropbox Support cannot do it.
