I am sending customers images via the copied dropbox link. I have had multiple people from different jobs say that the same jpeg image is showing up in duplicates. there are hundreds of images that are being duplicated but on there are no duplicates in the folders on my end.

Could you clarify exactly what you mean by this? Are you sharing the same shared link to people? Is there only one shared link?
If you open the shared link on a private browsing window, when you're not logged into your account, are you seeing the same issue?

That does sound like a puzzling situation! It's odd that duplicates are appearing for your customers despite there being no duplicates in your Dropbox folders. It could be a glitch with the link or a syncing issue on their end.
