Error when trying to play a video I uploaded to Dropbox

Error when trying to play a video I uploaded to Dropbox

I had a service change my old movies i had taken with a to digital form (Memory Box). The from the memory stick they sent me I uploaded it to dropbox.  Apparently they are in MP4 format. When I try to play it I get the message "The media could not be loaded, either because the server or network failed or because the format is not supported."

What can I do to view these old movies?

Hey @Frederic D.2, thanks for your post.

Are you seeing this error when trying to play the video locally on your computer? Is that directly from the Dropbox folder?

What do you see when you preview the video on dropbox.com?

Let me know!

Thanks for the reply. When I view it on Dropbox.com it works

In that case, you can try another media player/program to view it locally on your devices or even installing a codec pack for your current media play @Frederic D.2

I hope this helps a tad and sorry to jump in here.
