Audio files skip after 10 seconds when I preview them.
I have some audio files saved in DB- when l go to listen to some, they seem to
have developed a 'skip' after about 10 seconds.
The timer at the bottom stops at 10 seconds, the music jumps to a different part and then jumps again when the timer jumps back to 20 seconds.
I have the same audio files for a while and no issues up to now. I unistalled DB and it still happens.
Any ideas? Thanks.

Hey Rob8585 - sorry to hear about this.
Can you please clarify if you notice this happen within the Dropbox mobile app or maybe on a web browser?
If it's the latter, can you clear the browser's cache or try another browser, and let us know how it goes?
Thanks!

It's on both. Initially it was the Dropbox mobile App but l just tried the browser there and it's the same unfortunately even after clearing the cache and trying another browser.
It's annoying as it was always fine so why did it change now? - Megan2 years ago

Hey Rob8585!
Are you loading this preview in your Dropbox account or from a shared link?
Also, how large are these files, and do they all skip at precisely 10 seconds or more?
- Rob85852 years agoExplorer | Level 3Hi Megan.
It is an audio file that l have saved in a folder in my Account.
The two audio files in question are 405 KB and 2.2 MB in size, not the biggest by any stretch.
Both skip at 10 seconds.
When viewed on Dropbox through the browzer when you can see the preview across the bottom, the 'black line' only stretches to the 10 seconds as opposed to the full time.
My point was both of these have always been perfect up to last week which no changes to the account?
Cheers.

Interesting, thanks for letting me know, Rob!
And if you download them from Dropbox locally to the device, are you able to preview them without an issue?
- Rob85852 years agoExplorer | Level 3I don't understand the question?

Hey Rob8585!
If you try to use these steps, in order to download the files from your Dropbox account to your device and then preview them there, do they preview like they normally would, or skip after 10 seconds?
- Kezball2 years agoNew member | Level 2I have the exact same issue. It’s driving me nuts!

I have this exact issue. I have an iPhone. It does the same thing whether I play them via browser or in the app.
I have an iPhone. If I downloaded the video it works but that takes a lot of space to download then I have to delete afterward. - Megan2 years ago

Hey @Kezball, thanks for posting here!
Would you be able to share your OS, along with the Dropbox version that you're using on your end?
When did this start happening, and does this happen with all of your files?
Let me know more!
