Camera Uploads Don't Update Previews in Photo Section on Android

Hi. When I do an update from my photos in Camera Uploads, I cant view that on Photo Section, Instead I can view and locate these files in Files Section. I try to close my session and after that the preview is OK, but in the next camera uploads the error is there one more time. Thank You.

I have an Samsung S23 Ultra.

    Hi there edsonlemus - sorry to hear about this.

     

    Have you tried clearing the app's cache since you first noticed this?

     

    If not, can you give it a go and let us know how it goes?

    Hi Walter, thanks for the feedback.

    Yes, I tried erasing cache directly from Dropbox app and directly from my Android's App Manager and it does not works. The only way that it works is closing my session. Thank you.

    Hi from me as well, edsonlemus! If you don’t take any action at all, and give the Dropbox app some more time, do the photos appear then under your Photos tab? 

     

    I’d just like to make sure that the app doesn’t just need more time till everything shows up.

    Hi Nancy, thanks for your feedback.

    No, the only way that works, is closing my session and re-open it again. The photos doesn't appear waiting a little time as you mention.

    Thanks for giving that a go, edsonlemus! If you haven’t already, and if you’re not on a free Basic account with more than 3 devices linked, I’d like you to also reinstall the Dropbox app on your mobile device and let me know if that helps.

    Hi Nancy. I did what you suggest and the results are the same, it only updates previews when I close session but after that, the app doesn't update previews under photos tab.
