Can't watch videos from my computer when uploaded from my phone to a shared folder.

I have a shared folder with my business partner that we upload videos of property walkthroughs in. We can watch these videos from our phone, but when we try to open them up a computer the audio will play but the screen is black. Is anybody else dealing with this issue and know what the fix is?

Hey Johnathant77, I'd be happy to help!

Is it safe to assume that you're opening these files from our desktop app, locally on the device?

Also, what file types are we talking about here? Can you try to preview the files using our website, and let me know what happens then?

Keep me posted, and we'll take it from there!

So I just tried opening them through the website and it worked so we will just do that from now on. I am not sure the video type, whatever a new iphone would take and upload from the app. I just cannot open it up from my files on my laptop where it plays through the media player. However with it working on the website I will just open it that way in the future now

Hey Clementina77, sorry to hear that.

Can you let us know exactly what the issue is?

What do you see when you open the link on your computer? A screenshot would be helpful, if you can send one as well.

Have you tried opening the link from a different browser or private browsing window, to see if that helps?
