Change the default PDF viewer
Please allow users to indicate their preferred pdf viewer app. Many Dropbox users use another pdf viewer app and it is inconvenient to use Open With to select that app. As well, it is inconvenient to be presented with Adobe Reader whenever a user simply selects a pdf document for viewing.

Hi PdfUser, thanks for messaging the Community.
Are you referring to previewing files on the Dropbox site, or via the Dropbox mobile app?
If the latter, are you using an Android or iOS device?
This will help me to assist further.

Hi Jay: The pre-viewer seems to be working OK for me. I was referring to the pop up (asking me to install Acrobat Reader) which occurs every time I hit "Open With" for a pdf. I will never install that product and would prefer the ability to set PDF Expert (from Readdle) as my default pdf app and have it open seamlessly in there. The extra step slows me down. I am on iOS.
I did not see the other thread asking pretty much the same thing. Sorry. That other thread does not provide a solution. I am not looking for a workaround. I don't want Adobe Reader pushed on me.

Could you let me know what device you're using when using the Open With button?
