Download stops after downloading ~2 GB out of a 10 GB file

Hello,

I do have a few huge files (for example 10 GB) in my dropbox.
I then download them onto a external hard disk.
The download first works, but after a while it just stops (after 2 GB for example). There is also no error message. The download just stops.
What could be the reason?

Thanks

Thanks for bringing this to our attention, Fragensteller44.

Have you tried downloading your file from a different browser or from a private browsing/incognito window, to see if that helps?

Let me know what you find.

    hello,

I now tried it with another browser (Firefox).

I tried it three times, it works for 2-3 GB, but then it stops, and it always says "Download failed".

    What can I do?

Hmm, I'm thinking if there's some kind of extension affecting your download.

Can you try from a private browsing/incognito window, to see if you get a different behavior?
