How can I save a Dropbox backup folder to Google Drive?

Question or Issue
I've been receiving OVER THE LIMIT emails for years now re: my dormant FREE DB ACCOUNT so I just went and transferred all of my DROPBOX files to my Google Drive. But I supposedly still have 340GB in a video file (folder, actually) sitting in my DROPBOX BACKUP folder. But no matter what I do it refuses to drag & drop into my Google Drive like I just did with all of my regular files and folders. How do I transfer that backup folder to my Google Drive or can I NOT transfer backup files and must just delete? Thanks in advance for the solution! CJG1

Hi there, CJG1, thanks for posting your question and welcome to the Dropbox Community.

Do you currently have the backup folder in your local Dropbox folder or are you accessing it from your backups page online?

If you can see it in your Dropbox folder, instead of drag and drop, have you tried to copy or cut and paste it to Google Drive?

If you can only access it online, you'll need to first download it to your computer and then move it to Google Drive from there.

Lastly, you can use these steps if you'd like to disable the feature as well.

I hope this helps and if you have any questions, let me know!

Thank you for the response. I'm sure one or another of those solutions will work.
