I can't always open my MS Word files via the desktop app and I receive an error.
I used to double-click on any Word Docx when stored in DropBox and it would open, but lately, it won't open and an error message pops up... it is not consistent. Sometimes it opens and sometimes it does not. The error message says it is a MS Word problem, but when I spoke to MS, they said it is a DropBox problem since I have no problem working on Word files if they are out of DropBox. As a workaround - I can drag a file outside of DropBox and then it would open.

Thanks for posting about this here, avner9299!
Can you send me a few screenshots first of what you see on your end?
More specifically, I’d like a screenshot of what you see in your File Explorer/Finder > Dropbox folder, before opening one of your Word documents (so that I can check their current syncing status). I’d also like a visual of the Microsoft error that you’re receiving after that.
Let me know when you’re ready.
