I don't seem to be able to download files saved on dropbox direct to 3rd party platforms

Hi Everyone,

I don't seem to be able to download files saved on Dropbox direct to 3rd party platforms.

For example - a music file or jpeg saved in my Dropbox and I can't seem to be able to link and upload directly to a music platform (like Soundcloud) - I seem to have to download it to my computer first then upload it to Soundcloud.

Is there a setting/way to do it directly from Dropbox rather than downloading and then uploading via computer?

Pls help me

Thanks for posting on our Community, lookere!

If you have the desktop app installed on your computer, and all of your files are synced to your device’s local Dropbox folder, you should be able to upload them directly to SoundCloud, for example, without downloading them from the Dropbox website first.

You can just select the option to upload a file to SoundCloud and then, pick the one you want from your File Explorer/Finder > Dropbox folder.

I hope this clarifies things, but I’m here if you need something else.
