Hi maoritsu, thanks for bringing this to our attention.

What mobile device and OS are you running currently?

How exactly are you downloading the images from your account onto your phone?

This will help me to assist further!

iphone 6s+, ios 15.6.1. i'm downloading the images via the most recent version of the dropbox app by clicking " save image " from the dropdown. like i said, this is a new problem as i've been able to save any kind of transparent image this way before.

Hey maoritsu, when did you first notice this behavior?

If you choose to make the file available offline and then download it, does that make a difference?

it started in april of this year and at first i thought it was just a glitch and didn't think anything of it. i tried as you suggested making the file offline and then downloading it but that didn't do anything

    Thanks for clarifying maoritsu!

Would you be able to send me a few screenshots of how an example file looks like in the Dropbox app, and how it looks when you download it?
