Make available offline doesn't download files
I have installed Dropbox on a new Laptop a couple hours ago.
I already created a new file and it got uploaded just fine. I'm also able to download individual files, when opening it. But when I right click on a file or folder and choose "make available offline" none of those files get downloaded. The green arrow appears, but the cloud with the arrow is still there next to it. I Haven't found a single file that got downloaded.
Dropbox states, that everything is synced and that there are no sync issues.
I have already reached out via Chat, but I'm not getting anywhere there. I doubt there is a real person operating it. I hope to get some help here.

Hi there beyon - thanks for posting on our Community and sorry to hear you're having issues with this.
Can you please clarify your computer's exact OS version and the status and version of the Dropbox desktop app as shown in your system tray/menu bar as well?
A screenshot of the files you notice this on to check their syncing icons would also help.
As for your chat interaction with our support team, could you share your ticket ID so that we can look it up in our system?
Thanks!

Thanks for the reply. Unfortunately I didn't receive a ticket ID.
My OS is: Sonoma 14.6.1
The status is Up to date and the version is: 217.3.4297
Unfortunately I'm not able to upload a screenshot. When clicking on the paper clip icon for an attachment nothing happens and Drag n Drop doesn't work either. - Rich11 months ago

The camera icon is used for attaching a photo, not the paper clip icon. Try that, please.

My bar doesn't have the camera icon :) I have every icon just like you, but no camera icon.

Hi Beyon,
If you see both icons, it can mean the files are already available both offline and online.
I hope if that helps,
Cheers
