New window appears automatically when I select a file
I am really unhappy with a recent change that has a new window popping up every time I select an asset. A lot of the time, I'm simply moving or downloading the files. The auto-open feature is visually distracting, clutters the screen, and narrows the view of the window that I am trying to work in. I was told by Dropbox support that there is no way to toggle off the auto-open. I really suggest discontinuing that feature and allowing users to open the files as they see fit. Otherwise, the work flow gets harder, not easier.

Hey llutz, hope it’s OK if I jump in, too.
Are you referring to the new quick view window/preview that appears on the right side of your screen, when selecting a file at your All files page?
If yes, there’s a way to disable it by clicking on the little square button that’s located above your file list (right next to the one you click to choose grid/list view). Please click there and select “Full screen” instead.

I agree. It is VERY annoying and completely UNNECESSARY!
