On Mac Sequoia, my Finder does not find Dropbox files.

Hi everyone!
On my Mac I have a Dropbox folder which is automatically synchronized with my Dropbox online.  I move may files from my Mac into that folder.
I see the files in my Mac's Dropbox folder, and I know they are also in Dropbox in the cloud.
The problem is that when I search in the Mac's finder, I cannot find the files. I can find them when I search via the menu bar app icon and find the files that way, but it's not convenient, I have to then select "show in finder". Before I could search in the finder directly for the files and the Finder would find the files in the Dropbox folder.
What has changed? Why can't my Finder find files which are in my Mac's Dropbox folder?

Hi Pufichek, let's see what we can find about this together!

Would you mind hovering over your little Dropbox icon on your menu bar, next to your WiFi and clarifying the version that you're using? When did this start happening?

Also  is your Dropbox folder located in ~/Library/CloudStorage? If you have some example screenshots of the results when you're searching for content, I'd love to see them in order to have a visual on my end too.

Keep me posted, and we'll take it from there!

    Thanks, Megan,
From the get info in my Applications folder I see I have version 214.4.5.5217, modified 12-19, 2024.
My Dropbox folder is in Macintosh HD>Users>dfg16>Dropbox
When I search for a file from the Dropbox pulldown menu I find everything fine, and can select "show in finder", but when I search directly in the Finder it does not find any of the files, even though they are on my Mac in the dropbox folder (and they are both local and offline).
My attached image shows it all.
Let me add that it used to work fine, I could always find my files in the Finder, no matter where they were. Maybe it happened after I upgraded to Sequoia.
    Thanks!

Has there been a resolution to this issue.  I have exactly the same problem. It is very frustrating.

    Thanks
