Password protected .xlsx file doesn't preview on iPhone.
Uploaded a password protected .xlsx file from desktop and I cannot open it on iPhone using Dropbox app. It show the file and asks for the password but the only message I get after entering the password is "Office Open XML spreadsheet 92kb". iPhone running iOS 17.2.1 I also opened the Excel app and added Dropbox as a storage device. I can open the file on my desktop (Mac) through the Dropbox app. *This is a new file - the earlier version I had properly opened on both the iPhone and desktop.

Hi 1mikeg, how are you today? I hope you're doing well!
Keep in mind that currently, it is not possible to preview password protected documents in the Dropbox mobile app. To preview your file, you will need to open with a third-party app that supports previews of password-protected documents.
Here’s how:
- Tap the file and select “Open With…”
- Choose a third-party app to open the file. Can you give it a go, and keep me posted? Thanks!
