Photos appear only as Blue Boxes in Word file after saving on DropBox.

Months ago on my mac, I created a Word File with a table -- each row of the table has a picture in one of the columns.

The pictures came from the Photos program on the mac and were dropped into the table.

I put the file on DropBox.  I also made a PDF of the file and saved that too.

Now when I edit the word file, it looks fine except that every photo shows up as a blue box.

When I view the PDF file, everything appears fine.

If I convert the PDF file to a word file, it works except that every photo also appears as a blue box.

------

What's going on?

I have lots of other word files screensnaps and photos -- and have never seen this bizarre result before.

Hi Mjstefik, thanks for bringing this to our attention.

Are you previewing the file on the Dropbox site directly, or on your machine when downloading the file?

Does the same behavior occur when attaching the file directly instead of dragging it from the Photos program?

This will help me to assist further!

Thanks for the fast response.  I discovered last night that the problem is actually just with Word.  I mistakenly assumed the problem was with DropBox because I noticed it on a file that is on my computer synced with DropBox.  Sorry for the false alarm.  Mark
