The previews of my camera uploads photos appear smaller on the Windows desktop app.
Hi,
Normally when I browse through my camera uploads on my PC, I can see the pictures on the right side of the screen when I push "Example". These pictures are large.
Now however I do not see anything at the most of the pictures, and small pictures on others.
Dropbox is set to sync pictures so that they are available off line.
Can anyoune help solve this?
Thanks in advance
Regards
Esben

Thanks for letting us know about this, Esben.
Could you send us a screenshot of the issue, so we can have a visual?
Does this only happen in your Dropbox folder or on other folders on your PC as well?
Does the issue persist, if you quit the Dropbox app?
Keep me posted.

Tanks for the reply. I tried to quit the app as described. This did not help. I attach 2 examples of the issue. Normally the pucture should take up all the space of the right part of the screen. Regards, Esben.

Hi Esben, could you try reinstalling the Dropbox desktop application, without uninstalling it first, by using this link?

Thanks for your reply. I pressed download again and reinstalled, and unfortunately no change. Regards Esben

Could you try marking the images as online only, and then as available offline, to see if this helps?

Hi, This was also my first thought. I did this many times and tried again a couple of times. I made the exercise both via the "Dropbox" and the "Camera Uploads" folder by right clicking on Dropbox and select available offline or only available online. Regards Esben

If you double-click the image, are you able to open and preview them normally on your machine?

Yes I am, via my normal viewer.

If you quit the app as Hannah suggested here, and try clicking on an example file while the app remains closed, do you see the same results?
I'm asking because it seems in your response earlier, the syncing icons were still present, therefore the app was still running.
Also, do you notice this behavior with files specifically inside your Dropbox folder or on other folders on your PC as well?

I tried to quit the app and then click example - still no result. I attach a screen shot of the result. My understanding is that the files are synced with the green symbol. Also I attach an example of the Example function on other folders. It works fine. Regards Esben
