Zip file that was shared with me says it's empty on the website
Hi, someone sent me a file. I created a free dropbox account but I don't see how to open it. It's a zip file and says it's empty. Any help is appreciated.

Your best bet is to download locally and open from there
Zip files dont play well on the website.

Thanks Mark. It was sent to me as a dropbox link and when I open it, it goes to zip.

That usualy means they've sent you EITHER a Zip file of everything or lots of documents and its zipping it up to download in one go.
If its too large it can fail. Or, if your Dropbox account isn't big enough to accept it could fail.
Why not ask for a Transfer link instead?

Thank you. I'll do that.
