Auto Bullets when I try to create a paragraph in Word.
Hello. A collaborator sent a word document that I uploaded to Dropbox. I duplicated the document and began a new (word) one so I could manipulate it to fit the needs of the assignment. As I began to edit it (after opening it in Word for Web), I pressed "enter" to create a new line so I could insert a table at the top and when I pressed "enter" it would automatically start a bulleted line! I would press have to click the bulleted list button at the top after every space of paragraph I created. For some reason, it keeps wanting to start a bulleted list. And no, I do not have a bulleted list anywhere else in this document, nor did I ever click the bullet button.
Do I have some "auto bulleted list" setting turned on that I can turn off???
Ps. I have a mac laptop, so it is technically every time I press "return" in Word for Web.

Hey K10MD - sorry to hear you're having issues with this.
Could you clear your browser's cache or try another browser and let me know if you get the same results?
If you do, I'd appreciate a screenshot too!

It would have to be a video rather than a screenshot, otherwise its just how a bullet sits on a page as usual. The issue is that fact that it automatically thinks a new paragraph shall start with a bullet.
I can reach out to you directly with a screen recording but I don't prefer to share my screen publicly in case the information may be sensitive. - Megan2 years ago

Hey K10MD, does that happen with all of your Word content, or just this specific one?
If you copy this document, and try to edit the new copy, do you notice the same behavior?

It seems to happen with both the source document and my copy.
When I open the document in Word (not word for WEB) then it doesn't happen. If I open other documents with Word for Web, it doesn't happen.

Thanks for clarifying that for us K10MD
You haven't mentioned if this persists after clearing your browser's cache or when using another browser - could you give it a go and let us know if this persists?
If it does, could you try selecting the blank space where you want to type in the doc and toggle off/on the bullet list and try again?

I cleared the browser cache and it kept happening but it seemed to only happen with that document. I'm wondering if something somehow carried over from the original.
