Can I restore deleted files to a different folder of my choice?

The Dropbox Community "process" is flawed, with difficult to assist support (or almost non-existent)...how is it that a simple easy request is so crazily misinterpreted or unresolvable?

Situation:

Me: I'd like to recover deleted items from Dropbox, but I'd like to recover them to a specific folder so as not to integrate into my normal Dropbox files, how? (I do not want then to go back to locations that I need to verify why they were deleted in the 1st place)

AI Reply: As I understand, you'd like to recover some deleted files but not have them recovered in the location from which they were deleted.

Me: Correct.

Me: I'd like to create a folder called "Recovered from Deletion" and have them go there.

AI: That's not something that can be done from your end or mine in this case.

Huh???????????????????????

So, I can recover 140,000+ files, have them intertwine and mix with possible duplicate data, and I have no way to sift though 140,000 file to verify the deletions?

That's not possible. Files are restored to their original location. There's no option to restore them to a different folder.

    I hope you're doing well.

I was just informed by our specialized team that what you're asking for is not possible currently.

We can only restore content to the original folder that they were deleted from.  If you wish to proceed that way, please let me know.

    Looking forward to your reply.
