Desktop files have disappeared after logging off the app
I have a client who has either had the Dropbox client removed, or has been logged off. The result is his files has disappeared from the locations that he had synced(?) to dropbox. e.g. Desktop, Downloads, Documents. When he logs into Dropbox through the Web, they are there, but when he installed the client back onto his Mac, the files did not sync back. Is there a way to rectify this situation?

Hi dbraddockneveco, thanks for bringing this to our attention.
It's possible that the user activated the Dropbox Backup feature on their device.
When reinstalling the app, they should get an option to restore those files to their machine.
