If Dropbox hasn't synchronized, then there's no way for Dropbox to recover the files. Dropbox can only recover files that were synced to your account online.
If you had files in Dropbox that weren't synced, and in the process of moving the files they were deleted, Dropbox can't do anything about that. Have you checked your Recycle Bin or Trash?

Hey @daniel Guijarro, let's jump right into this!
Did you enable our Backup feature at any point, while using your Dropbox account? If so, is the feature still enabled?
Also, would you mind walking me through the steps that you followed when moving your files out of Dropbox? Did you simply move your content outside of your Dropbox folder, to a different path on your device or something different?
Let me know more!

Thanks very much Megan,
No did not enable Backup feature.
The steps I follwed were the follwing:
1- I dragged my dropbox folder into my documents folder.
2- I got a message saying something like: If you move out of dropbox you cannot share files with others and be available in other devices" cant remerber the exact words
3- only syncronised files were copied into my computer.. the rest did not appear.. they d not appear in my trash bin..
thanks very much I am a bit desperate

Hey @daniel Guijarro, if you check your account online, do you see any of your content there?
Also, have you taken a look into your events page? The Events page gives you an overview of all activity in your account including files events (adds/edits/deletes).

thanks. for the record just to let you know that my computer automatically saved the "old Dropbox" on my HD so I didn't loose my non sync files and docs.
Thanks again
