I can't locate some folders, even after restoring some deleted content.

A user on our shared Dropbox deleted a number of folders another user has restored the deleted folders. Following the deleted folders being restored when Dropbox has synced again the folders that were not deleted in the first instance have now disappeared and do not appear in the recently deleted files.

The missing folders do not appear in the activity logs or events saying that they have been deleted.

How do we restore these folders?

Hi there, seanl144 I'd be happy to help!

Allow me to clarify a few details, so I can better assist you.

When you say "shared Dropbox", are you referring to a shared folder within an individual account, or a Dropbox team?

If you're part of a team, are you talking about shared or team folders specifically?

You also mentioned that "the folders that were not deleted in the first instance have now disappeared".

Just to confirm: are you saying these specific folders no longer appear in your activity logs, or events page? Or are you referring to the folders that were originally deleted, and then restored?

Let me know more, and we'll take it from there!

It's apart of a Dropbox team and the folders are team folders.

No referring to the folders that weren't initially deleted. They no longer appear in the system and there is no record of them in the activity logs or events page.
