I'm getting conflicted copies when using Pages on my iPad with Dropbox files.

Hi there. Whenever I use Pages on my iPad for word processing and the file it’s using is sourced from Dropbox I’m getting multiple conflicted copies generated. It feels like 1 every 5 minutes or whenever the program auto-saves  so 30 minutes of writing will generate multiple conflicted copies in my Dropbox folder. Anyone have any solutions or workarounds to this?

Thanks

Hi Si Hall! Thanks for your post.

Has this been happening for some time now, or is it a behavior you noticed recently after a specific update?

Have you tried clearing the Dropbox app’s cache and reinstalling it?

    Keep me posted.

    Hi Nancy,

I have exactly the same problem as Si Hall. It happens even with newly  created files, certainly not in use by others. There are only very few files in my DropBox shared with other users fair away from the files in question and in an other folder.

During work with a newly created file there are tens of conflicted copies created!

    Thanks for an answer!

Hi HofmWalt, is this occurring only for Pages files created on the iPad, or does it also apply for those on the desktop device?
