I'm trying to move a shared folder, but it's getting copied instead.
I am trying to move shared folders, not created by me, I was told this is possible without affecting the content or other users.
However when I try to move a shared folder it duplicates in the place of destination as a non-shared folder, and stays in its original place.
Had anyone had this problem and found a solution?
If you right-click on the folder instead, select “Move” and then, paste it in the desired location, do you still see the same result?
Are you trying to move the folder to a separate Dropbox account of yours, by any chance? If yes, then this could be expected as per this point.

It sounds like you're copying, not moving, the folder. What's the exact process you're following?

I am dragging the folder with the mouse on my iMac.

Thank you Nancy, it works now 😊
I am moving within the same account, to a non-shared folder.
