I've lost all the images saved in my folder. How can I recover them?

Unfortunately, I along with a group who were collecting photos for a future 50year anniversary book have lost all the images saved in our mutual folder. Any help to recover these items would be greatly appreciated.

For free users, Dropbox stores deleted photos in the recycle bin for 30 days, and up to 180 days for some paid plans. Just Go to Files > Deleted Files and look for your lost images. As Paid users with Dropbox Backup or the extended version history may have a better chance of recovery.

Also, do you remember when the files went missing? The timeframe can help find whether Dropbox still has them.

Unfortunately the images went missing in 2020 during COVID when all projects went on hold. Hopefully there is a way to find these lost images of time that reflect a history of our soccer club.

Hi FerdoBara91, for files that long ago, unfortunately, it wouldn't be possible to recover files deleted from back then.

We're sorry that we can't be more helpful on this matter.
