One of my folders has a selective sync conflict and its files have disappeared.
Recently my PC crashed so while in the shop I set up my old laptop and put some Dropbox files in using selective sync (due to limited space)... Now I have my PC back and an important folder has a sync conflict with nothing in it... There is no duplicate folder and it only shows up on Mobile (which is the web) and on computer web access (with selective sync conflict) ... I do not know where the files are... Not in the trash on Dropbox and not in my recycle bin on PC...
Please, someone help me find my missing files... (PS: They are images of the Book of Isaiah Scrolls that I created... ) I thought they would always be safe in Dropbox...

Hey Steven_Borger, thanks for posting this on our forum.
Have you also checked your Events page here? Can you see any of your missing files on that page and restore them from it?
If not, I’d like us to look into the selective sync conflict you’re having a bit closer. Can you send me a screenshot of how your folder appears now on the web? Also, if I get this right, you can no longer access it via the desktop app on your PC. Correct?
In that case, I’d like you to open your selective sync settings on your PC, and let me know if the folder is unchecked there.
Keep me posted for any updates.

I changed one of the Isaiah Scrolls to #2 in hopes that would help... It did not...Both look like this... As for the Selective Sync help page, I got nothing that worked... The folder is simply missing or empty... After tying all these steps, now my phone and computer will not sync together... I took a photo and tried to send it to Dropbox on my computer but it does not show up... Cleared Dropbox cache and history to no avail... I was able to fix one folder by deleting the duplicate... The Isaiah Scroll with conflict only shows up on the web but not on the PC... I also had a folder called: useful items with the same issue, one folder on web with nothing in it. All others I do not need to worry about... The Isaiah Scroll has all my art work I created in it... Or at least it did...

Hey Steven_Borger, have you searched for any of the files through the search bar in your Dropbox account online, to see if/where they show up?

Hey Steven.
Does the Dropbox app work on your PC at the moment?
If you hover over the Dropbox icon in your system tray, what do you see? Do you even have the icon there?
