Can I skip 'Add your name' and 'Your email address' when someone tries to add files to my account?
Hi,
I've created a QR code that links straight to my drop for wedding guests to upload their photos of the day. I've done a couple of tests with the QR code and it links to the drop box and file where I'd like the photos to be uploaded. So that works.
However, Dropbox has asked every time the QR code is scanned to 'Add your name' and 'Your email address'.
I feel the guests won't want to do this every time they want to upload photos.
Is there some way around these questions or do guests have every time they want to drop photos?
Any advice is greatly appreciated.
Thanks
Mother of the Bride

Hey Mother of the Bride, wishing you a great Thursday!
Based on everything that you described it sounds like you're using a File Request on your end.
Keep in mind that if someone is logged into their Dropbox account, then they shouldn't be asked for their name and email address each time.
However, some other guests might not have a Dropbox account. In this case, they wouldn't be able to bypass that process.
I hope this clarifies.

Hi Mother of the Bride and welcome to the Dropbox Community.
Yes, echoing Megan here, if your guests have a Dropbox account, they won’t need to enter their name and email each time. However, if they don’t have an account, they’ll need to go through this process for each upload.I love how you’re planning to use this feature to gather all the wedding photos and videos! 📸💍 I actually attended a wedding that did this, and the Bride and Groom ended up with so many amazing behind-the-scenes moments. Such a great idea! 🎉
