Dropbox Backup will not see my 4TB Sandisk external drives.

My 2 4TB Sandisk external drives will not show up for Dropbox Backup. My 2TB Sandisk external drive does. The only difference between them is that the 2TB is APFS Case Sensitive and the 4TB drives are just APFS.

I have tried the option key in Accounts and pressed the Reset Operating System Warnings many times. It does not say that it does anything like the other two options do.

I am running the latest Mac OS and have updated Dropbox.

Any help would be appreciated

Hey jdking let's see what we can find about this together!

When you say that your 4TB external drive will not show up for Dropbox Backup, I assume you mean that you can't see a dialog box when you plug the drive to your device, correct?

If not, feel free to clarify more.

Can you try to access the app's preferences under your "Backups" tab, and then click "Manage Backup"? What do you see there?

If you could send me a screenshot that'd be great in order for me to have a visual. While you're at it, can you also let me know which version of the Dropbox desktop app you're using on your end?

You can find this by hovering your mouse over the small Dropbox icon on your menu bar, next to your WiFi.

Keep  me posted, and we'll take it from there!

    Hi Megan,

Yes. I do not receive a dialog box for the 2 4TB drives. In the manage backups I only see the 2TB drive. It is backing up fine. The 4TB drives do not show up there.

    Dropbox Version: 228.4.5567

    Thanks
