Dropbox has created many selective sync conflicts on my machine

I don't understand what is happening with my dropbox. I have been using dropbox for a few years now. This is the first time the syncing is going crazy. Even when I set it to not sync, it syncs. Now I have (Selective Sync Conflict) folders all over my files. I was waiting for dropbox to finish syncing over 2TB of files that I have told not to sync and it was down to the last 1 min to finish. THEN it went back UP again!!!!! It's trying to sync 223,000+ files AGAIN!!! My settings REMOVED ALL THE FILES TO SYNC!!! I'M GETTING REALLY FRUSTRATED!!!!!!! I have uninstalled and reinstalled.

Hi sweetesthoneyb, thanks for bringing this to our attention.

What device are you currently using, and what is the current version of your OS and Dropbox desktop application?

Have you made any recent updates to your machine in any way? Is the Dropbox folder located on an external drive or internal drive?

This will help me to assist further!
