Dropbox Transfer default expiration now 1 year?!
Hello,
I'm wondering why Dropbox Transfer links expire after a year instead of 7 days like before.
One year is a way to far! 😞
Is there an option to set the default expiry date?
I know that I can set the expiration period for every transfer link I create. However, it is very annoying to set a date individually every time.
Greetings
Sasha

HI there Sascha F. - thanks for using Dropbox and posting on our Community!
Could you please clarify what plan you're on at the moment and if you notice this with new transfers or old ones as well?
The length of time before a transfer expires depends on the plan you have. For example, Dropbox Basic, Family, Plus, and Standard have 7 days while Dropbox Transfer, Professional, Education, Essentials, Business, Advanced, Business Plus and Enterprise plans get the option to set a custom expiration date when creating a transfer.
I hope this helps a tad and please keep us posted!

Hi Walter , thank you!
I have the "Essential" subscription.
I can setup an individual expiry date for each transfer, but every transfer is pre-setup for 1 year. I have to change it every time.
Best
Sascha
