file request, files missing

File request set up. Received 21 attachments from forwarded emails into the designated folder.

8 new files are received as per file request dialogue box. These files are not showing up in the folder.

Help. Please.

Thanks for posting this on our forum, IA Accounting

Do you know any of the file names of the missing files (or at least some keywords)? When searching for them on the Dropbox website, do you get any results?

Did you happen to take a screenshot of the dialog box that appeared on your screen, by any chance? If yes, feel free to send it to me here.

Keep me posted for any updates.

    Airgas Received 37

    Folder only shows 21 files

The missing files have similar names and later upload dates.

Hi IA Accounting, the catch here might be the similar name.

If it's not too much of a trouble, can you ask from the person that submitted the file, to rename the identical ones, and send them over again?

These are thousands of vendor bills automatically forwarded from my inbox. The whole purpose is automation to avoid manual file handling.

I have a resent case and it is a duplicate, which should not be uploaded again. Dropbox does what it is supposed to do and omit duplicate submissions. That explains why there is a higher number of received files vs files in the folder.
