Getting an error when trying to upload 2.5 TB of files to a file request
Hey, I'm hoping someone can help me with this.
I have a client who sent me a file request for some videos. As far as I know, they have the essentials plan with 3 TB of space. I do not use Dropbox, so I am working off the free plan.
The Issue:
The upload is VERY large (several files totalling 2.5 TB). Anytime I try to upload through the file request, I get an error message saying each file needs to be 250 GB or less.
Is there a solution to this?
Thanks for the help!

Hi Love933 !
The Dropbox File request that was shared by your clients has a limit for 250 GB per request. That means that you can only put files that are lower than 250 GB.
What I can suggest is to manually upload the files per batch or per folder and make sure that the folder doesn't exceed the limit. On the other hand, you might consider purchasing a subscription and start uploading the files you want to send to your clients and share it directly with them.File request limit: https://help.dropbox.com/share/create-file-request
