Going back to the Basic plan. Will my shared folders be deleted?
Hello all,
My question is essentially that I have two shared folders with other individuals. If I were to go back to Basic it says that my files might be deleted, but they aren't folders I own. I guess I want some clarification that I won't delete someone elses access to the files just my own.
I don't own the folders.
Thanks

If, after downgrading to a Basic account, you're over your storage quota for an extended period, Dropbox can delete files from your account to bring you back below your quota. Only files you own would be affected. They would start with the newest files added to your account and work backwards.
For shared folders where you're not the owner, the share would be temporarily removed from your account, but the content of the folders would not be deleted. YOU would lose access, but others would not. Shared folders you own would be removed as well, but others would retain their access.
