How can I free up space taken up by a shared folder?
We keep receiving emails from Dropbox that we have exceeded the storage for our free basic plan. We have deleted all our files from Dropbox, but one of our vendors owns a file, shared with us, which appears on our dashboard. The vendor told us they deleted the file, but it still appears on our dashboard. What can be done please? Must we delete our Dropbox account entirely?

If you no longer need the files you can leave the share.
