How can I keep files from getting synced on Android or Windows 11?

That is nice for Apple users.  Does not work for android or win 11.

It works fine for Windows 11, though the steps are slightly different since this original topic was created seven years ago. Just go into your Selective Sync settings and you can uncheck folders to remove from your local drive.

Selective Sync isn't available on mobile devices, such as Android, because the mobile app doesn't sync your files like the desktop apps do. There's no need for Selective Sync. The mobile apps allow you to view the content in your account as it exists online.
