How can I tell if a user has viewed files in a shared folder of mine?
I have set up a Dropbox folder with multiple files of which I am the owner and the other party has access to view (not to edit nor to share). It’s imperative (legal situation) that I figure out if this other person has opened the Dropbox folder and/or viewed the files within. The only information I can find anywhere about this tells me to hover over the other person‘s gray icon, and that will show me if they are currently looking at the files or not. However, I just need to know whether the other person has accessed/opened the folder and the files within. I upgraded to a costlier plan specifically so I could find this information, but I am still stumped. Thank you for any help.

Hi @Ell2, thanks for bringing this to our attention.
As it sounds like you're referring to a shared folder, you would be able to see some information about file activity.
With viewer info, you can also see when a user is viewing a file, and if you're on some specific plans, you can see when they last accessed it.
If you have any further queries, feel free to message back.
